Brussels: NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg voiced concern on Wednesday about moves by Kosovo to convert its security force into an army, amid a deterioration in already fragile relations with neighbouring Serbia. Kosovo, which declared independence from Serbia in 2008, is due next week to take controversial steps towards forming an army. Belgrade fiercely contests the move, arguing that it is a direct threat to security and violates the terms of NATO’s presence in Kosovo. (dpa)
