Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has described the siege of Qatar as unfair, unjustified, and artificial. “Turkey rejects the principle of resorting to sanctions to resolve differences,” he said at the Doha Forum, expressing hope that the crisis would end soon, although it did not harm the Qatari economy. “Qatar is working hard to diversify its economy, which continues to grow [despite the siege], and achieve self-sufficiency in many fields. It has also been very active in the regional and international arenas,” he added. (TNN)
