The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will implement a temporary closure at the Industrial Area Roundabout 1 in Al Khor, located between the Industrial Area Street and Khattaf Street where one lane will be closed while the other lane will be kept open in all directions of the roundabout, the authority has announced.
The closure will last for one month starting from Saturday, January 12, 2019, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
The temporary closure is required to facilitate the works of laying TSE pipe as part of design, build, operation and maintenance of Al Dhakhira Sewage Treatment Works, Transfer Pumping Station and Associated Pipelines.
Ashghal will instal road signs to guide motorists of the closure. Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit, which is pegged at 50 km/hour and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
