Prominent Indian expatriate social worker PN Baburajan was elected the president of Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), the apex body of Indian community in Qatar, during an election held at Ashoka Hall of Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) on Thursday.
Baburajan will head the forum for the next two years.
ICBF, under the aegis of Indian embassy, is a non-profit and philanthropic organisation helping the needy and working class from the community.
PN Baburajan from Thrissur District of Indian State of Kerala has served Indian community as vice-president of ICBF, management committee member of Indian Cultural Centre and active member in prominent socio-cultural and business organisations, including Indian Business Professionals Council and Kerala Business Forum.
