Qatar has strongly condemned the explosion in a market in Al-Qaim town of Western Iraq’s Anbar province that left two people dead and eight others injured. In a statement released on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Qatar’s rejection of violence and terrorism regardless of its motives and reasons. The ministry confirmed Qatar’s solidarity with the Iraqi government and its support for any measures to be taken to preserve security. The statement also expressed the condolences of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
