Expect colder nights: QMD

DOHA The Qatar Meteorological Department has warned of strong winds and colder nights during the weekend. The temperature in Doha is expected to drop to a low of 15 degree Celsius. “Weather inshore until 6 am on Saturday will be slightly cloudy and cold by night,” the QMD said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be partly cloudy at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea. Wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 to 20 knots. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 15 to 25 knots gusting to 37 knots at some places at times. (TNN)
