The second Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as co-chairmen, will be held in Doha on Sunday.
The dialogue, which will see the participation of a large number of Qatari and US government officials, is expected to further deepen the bilateral strategic ties. The meeting will include high-level discussions on a number of political, economic, defence and cultural matters, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson HE Lulwah al Khater has said. It will also witness the signing of a number of memorandums of understanding (MoUs) that will enhance co-operation between the two countries, she added. (TNN)
