Director General of Cultural Village-Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti met Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar HE Achod Ahmed at Katara on Sunday. Talks during the meeting dealt with means of cultural cooperation and the establishment of an art exhibition by artists from Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s Ambassador, in a statement, praised Katara and its role in introducing different cultures and achieving humanitarian convergence through various events and activities. He expressed his pleasure to organise an exhibition aimed at introducing Bangladesh’s culture and its various arts to Katara’s visitors. He also said that his country is looking forward to developing its cultural relations with Qatar in the future. In turn, Dr Sulaiti welcomed hosting of the aforementioned art exhibition. He added that Katara is keen to provide all the facilities for the proposals it receives which may contribute in delivering the overall message of Katara and enriching the cultural scene in Qatar.
