Qatar and Angola on Sunday signed an air transport agreement, which will see Qatar’s national airline further expanding its operations network.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Transport and Communications HE Jassim Saif Ahmed al Sulaiti and Angolan Minister of Transport Ricardo de Abreu.
The agreement comes within the framework of Qatar’s objective to expand Qatar Airways’ network of operations across the world.
Following the signing ceremony, the two ministers discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the fields of transportation and aviation and the means of further enhancing them.
The meeting also tackled potential investment opportunities in these fields in both countries.
The meeting was attended by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar al Baker and Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Abdulla bin Nasser Turki al Subaey.
