The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has announced that it has prepared a distinguished programme of events and activities on the National Sport Day to be held on Tuesday, with the participation of more than 50 government bodies representing the ministries, official institutions and sports federations as well as private organisations and companies.
Katara will host up to 70 different activities, including motor activity.
Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti said the activities at Katara will be characterised by diversity to meet the wishes and abilities of various groups of society and family members.
He noted the intensive preparations made by Katara in order to attract thousands of visitors and provide various sporting activities on at the Katara beach.
