The eighth edition of the Halal Qatar Festival will conclude at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) on Monday (today).
The festival, which was launched on January 3 in the southern side of Katara, features various events and activities.
During the official visits to the festival on a daily basis, Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti took Australian Ambassador to Qatar HE Dr Axel Wabenhorst on a tour of the festival site, introducing him to various events included in the festivals, particularly those connected with the Qatari heritage, which have been attracting the public interest.
The festival also continues to receive visits from a number of public and private schools, where teachers praised the importance of the festival in enhancing the knowledge of the students.
It is expected that Monday will witness strong competition for the Syrians in the ranks of the most beautiful animal breeds.
