The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) on Wednesday inaugurated the ‘Chark’ Park in Dhakira area. This comes with the support of the Ras Laffan social communication programme. Located on a total area of 4,841 square metres, the new park provides a wide range of services for visitors, covering a 3,500-sq m irrigation and landscaping network, as well as areas for different types of flowers, soil coverings, plants and trees. It also comprises two playgrounds, and different features and facilities. Besides, the Dhakira walkway is characterised by a direct view of the beach, 1,800 metres long and three metres wide. It includes a bicycles track, children’s games and accompanying services, making it an ideal place for families. (QNA)
