Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani has lauded the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) for its efforts at monitoring the quality of drinking water.
During a visit to Kahramaa water quality laboratory in Al Duhail, the prime minister stressed the importance of continuing to exert further efforts and develop the monitoring mechanism to ensure the continuous supply of drinking water in Qatar in compliance with the highest international standards and specifications.
The prime minister received a brief on the efforts to monitor and control the quality of drinking water and the inspection standards.
He also received a detailed brief on the tests done for drinking water samples and the equipment used which are the most advanced in the world.
The prime minister also watched two presentations on Kahramaa’s efforts in ensuring drinking water quality and the new
water quality laboratory project being built in Al Thumama, according to the highest specifications and international quality
standards.
