Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress Chief Dinesh Gundu Rao on Friday urged party President Rahul Gandhi to contest the Lok Sabha elections from the southern state.
“On behalf of Karnataka Congress, I urge Rahul Gandhi to consider contesting from Karnataka the forthcoming #LokSabhaElections2019. He should be our representative from south India and for that he should choose my state. #RaGaFromKarnataka,” tweeted Rao. The Congress has already announced Gandhi’s candidature from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. (IANS)
