Raslen raises home hopes
Among the three Qatar gymnasts participating, 17-year-old Raslen Saoud made an impressive World Cup debut on the pommel horse with a determined and promising performance.

Shy and soft-spoken, Raslen said the though he was nervous, he was happy with his effort. “I have gained a lot of valuable experience and I am happy with my performance ,” he said soon after his event at the Aspire Dome.
“This event will give me a great deal of confidence in the future as I am looking forward to continue performing for Qatar,” he added.
Meanwhile, Al Dayani said his performance has improved in this year’s edition.
“My score is better than the previous World Cup. I am happy that I have showed improvement,” said Al Dayani.
