SECRETARY General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al Hammadi inaugurated on Monday a news follow-up application and an updated version of ‘Akhbarna’ application on smart devices, in the presence of Director of the Information Office Ahmed bin Saeed al Rumaihi and Acting Director of Information Technology Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Naemi.
The new application contains a number of features, including the follow-up news round the clock in newspapers as well as on websites and social media, which contributes to the provision of information fast and on time, in addition to reference information.
The updated version of the Akhbarna news application for smart devices is specific to the news of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its senior officials. It also includes various media reports and accounts of the ministry, as well as news and reports bulletin and a local newspaper bulletin.
