The Academic Bridge Program (ABP), under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Pre-University Education (PUE), hosted health awareness fair and blood donation campaign among students and faculty members in support of national efforts to encourage more people to donate blood.
Students, faculty and staff of the ABP participated in donating blood, demonstrating their belief in supporting important initiatives designed to create
societal benefit.
The participants provided an enthusiastic response to the blood donation campaign, playing their part in helping patients in need
of blood.
Rashid al Marri, events coordinator at ABP, said: “The Health Awareness Fair and the blood donation campaign are an indication of the sense of social responsibility toward others among Qatar’s people.
