Qatar and Ukraine on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training between Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Institute and Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Institute.
For the Qatari side, the MoU was signed by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Ahmad bin Hassan al Hammadi, while for the Ukrainian side it was signed by Director of the Diplomatic Institute of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergiy Korsunsky.
Meanwhile, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and Ukraine held a round of political consultations in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
Dr Hammadi led the Qatari side to the meeting, while Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergiy Kyslytsya led the Ukrainian side.
During the round of the political consultations, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the ways of promoting them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
