Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), the joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, has opened Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar in collaboration with Al Mirqab Mall, a statement said on Wednesday.
The Bazaar at Mirqab Mall was inaugurated on Tuesday by the General Manager of Bedaya Center Reem al Sowaidi along with Rony Mourani, General Manager of Al Mana Malls, and will be active until May 21.
The Bazaar will be the perfect platform for 30 local startups to showcase, promote and sell their goods under one vibrant and colorful roof.
The Bazaar aims to support small and medium businesses established by young, talented, ambitious, and creative Qatari entrepreneurs by providing them with the opportunity to showcase their products in a strategic location, considered as one of the most appealing shopping malls in Qatar. Reem said, “We aim, through the “Bedaya Ramadan Bazaar”, to provide an attractive platform and a golden opportunity for the start-ups and business owners operating small and medium businesses to showcase their products during the holy month of Ramadan at Mirqab Mall, which attracts great number of different categories of the diverse communities living in Qatar due to its strategic location and easy accessibility, thus providing the opportunity for the largest number of visitors to come and get a closer look at the products of the entrepreneurs, which highlights our role in supporting and promoting the pioneering innovation in the country.”
Rony Mourani, General Manager of Al Mana Malls, stated, “We are delighted to partner with Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development by supporting “Ramadan Bazaar” initiative, which will incubate a group of local SMEs by providing them opportunity to showcase their products, promote them and present them to potential customers.
