Moroccan striker Yousef El Arabi has returned to Al Duhail training after missing the Amir Cup semi-final against Al Sailiya.
In a post on the club’s twitter, El Arabi with teammates during the team’s practice session.
The French-bron former Granada of Spain player enjoyed another prolific season with the Red Knights, banging in 26 goals in this campaign and will be a much-needed addition to the squad against a strong Al Sadd team firing on all cylinders.
Al Duhail coach had earlier lamented the rush of games for his players especially with the AFC Champions League, domestic cup competitions and various national assignments.
Meanwhile opponents Al Sadd, who played on Saturday, started their preparations earlier.
The players had earlier received Sunday off from training following the Amir Cup semi-final win over Al Rayyan.
The 47th Amir Cup final will be played at the new Al Wakrah Stadium on May 16.
It will also be a swansong game for former Barcelona legend Xavi, who will bring down curtians on his chequered footballing career as a player.

according to the organisers.
