Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline operating regionally and internationally, on Wednesday announced it is operating 21 weekly flights between Doha and Kuwait, offering travellers convenient timings spread during the day, ideally scheduled for same-day business trips or to catch a connecting flight.
Flights through Kuwait from Doha enable passengers to connect to popular destinations in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent such as Mumbai, Cochin, Lahore, Hyderabad and other cities served by the airline. The transit timings average at two hours.
With three daily flights from Hamad International Airport, Jazeera Airways’ flights arrive at its dedicated Terminal 5 (T5) at Kuwait International Airport.
Terminal 5 provides passengers with the ease and comfort of travelling with 12 check-in counters, eight self-check-in kiosks, dedicated passport and security control procedures, duty free shops and restaurants, as well as free WiFi internet service available at the T5 gates.
Jazeera Airways CEO, Rohit Ramachandran, said: “We are pleased to be flying Doha since 2016, serving passengers from both countries as well as others throughout our network of 28 cities with reliable flights and a wide array of services to. Jazeera Airways’ on-time performance has exceeded 90% in the month of May and continues to offer easy, frills-free connections through our Terminal 5.”
Jazeera Airways’ Business Class gives passengers 50 kilograms in baggage allowance, priority boarding, a complementary inflight meal and access to the Pearl Lounge at Terminal 5. The Economy Class offers 30 kilograms in baggage allowance and a wide selection of meals from the Jazeera Café menu.
Jazeera Airways flies to 28 popular destinations across the Middle East, India and Europe comprising high-demand business, leisure, family and weekend destinations including Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Beirut, Amman, Alexandria, Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, Sohag, Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif, Najaf, Mashhad, Kochi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Lahore, Istanbul, Bodrum, Baku and Tbilisi.
The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A320s and an Airbus A320 neo.
