THE Summer Entertainment City (SEC) at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, which is part of the Summer in Qatar (SiQ) programme, has added new rides and attractions before it concludes on July 13.
The facility has been offering a number of activities for all age groups from the first day of Eid Al-Fitr festivities.
SEC is organised by QSports, in collaboration with Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), and is supported by Hamad Medical Corporation, KIA Motors, Ministry of Interior, Q-Tickets, B2C and a number of media partners.
An organiser told Qatar Tribune that new rides and attractions have been added at the SEC to offer unforgettable experience to children and adults this weekend.
Even though the SEC will close on July 13, it will reopen again on August 9 and continue until August 23, with even more new rides and attractions, the organiser added.
The new rides and attractions that have been added at the SEC 2019, include among others a giant 10-metre high slide.
There is also a pirate ship which is another inflatable pirate themed slide. “This incredible game will keep children jumping, bouncing and sliding down all day long”, said the organiser.
Besides, there is a Princess castle where kids can bounce, climb, slide and, play.
In addition, there is also the inflatable ocean ball which will give children a fun-filled experience. “Welcome to Qatar’s soft play and ocean ball pit. Let the kids be free to feel the unique experience” said the organiser.
SEC 2019 features amusement rides, skills games with prizes, trampoline park, a kids driving school setup, giant blocks park for kids to play and build with large lego-type blocks, a 1,000 sqm ocean ball soft play area, Qatar’s first InflataPark spread over 1,200 sqm, world’s largest bounce castle, a 1,200 sqm skate park, synthetic ice skating, Spider Climbing tower and over 45 food options and 100 retail outlets.
This year’s highlight is gaming and virtual reality featuring most advanced VR simulators, gaming stations and themed gaming areas.
