Birla Public School (BPS) organised a workshop on ‘Hindi Language and Teaching’ recently, where noted writer Prof Shradha Pandey was the guest speaker.
The aim of the workshop was to develop professional competence of teachers and to provide them with better learning strategies for students.
The teachers also learned about how to make classes more interesting and interactive during the workshop.
An orientation programme with students was also held with vivid discussions on how to score high marks in Hindi language in the Board exams, the pattern of question papers, problems faced while studying the language, as well as how to develop critical writing skills.
Besides, different learning methods were discussed so that students could adopt them and understand the language easily. The invited students showed great interest in the workshop.
