HIA sees 18.9% rise in passenger footfalls

Hamad International Airport (HIA) served a total of 9,387,314 million passengers in the second quarter of this year, an increase of 18.9 percent over the same period last year (7,892,456). HIA handled 56,452 aircraft movements during the second quarter as compared to 53,517 movements during the same period last year, a rise of 5.5 percent.
