From October 15, the government of Pakistan will be providing a premium of Rs 2,000 per month under the Sehat Insaf Card facility to Overseas Pakistanis and their families during their first year of stay abroad.
This was announced by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari while addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with Special Assistant for Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza.
Zulfi Bukhari said that under a joint venture of the ministries for Health and Overseas Pakistanis, this facility would provide a premium of Rs 2,000 per month and Rs 7,20,000 has been fixed annually which would be spent on the health of families of labourers working abroad.
Dr Zafar Mirza said the facility of Sehat Insaf Card has been provided to the needy in 43 districts in the country.
