DOHA
FAMOUS inspirational speakers from the Philippines Francis J Kong and Terence Rey Lim will be in the country for the Doha leg of a series of motivational talks titled ‘Unleash The OFWinner in You’ to be held at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) on August 16, from 1pm to 7pm.
The event is being organised by FRICH (free and rich) Revolution in three other cities in the Middle East. It is aimed at guiding and empowering overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) with winning strategies, attitude and mindset to lead an abundant life.
Kong is a sought-after broadcaster, writer, entrepreneur and speaker. He has been featured in many of the major business conventions and conferences in the Philippines and abroad. He has authored 10 books, including among others ‘One Day at a Time’, which has received a favourable review from Channel News Asia of Singapore, and ‘The Early Bird Catches the Worm’ which has been translated into the Korean language.
FRICH (free and rich) Revolution is a massive global movement that serves as a powerful response to the rich now, poor later cycle that continues to affect most overseas Filipinos. It was established by Terrence with Tet Cudiamat-Lim in 2009. The aim is to help OFWs live the life they deserve by educating, transforming, and providing them with opportunities. Currently, it has 28,909 members and growing.
The FRICH Revolution founders are award-winning ‘freedom’ entrepreneurs, multimillionaires and expert real estate investors. Starting out as ordinary OFWs in Milan, Italy, the couple had built an international multi-billion business that propelled them to great success over the past 10 years. They authored the OFW FRICH Handbook, the ultimate guide for all overseas Filipinos to become free and rich. They also manage Republika ng Filinvestor, a non-profit organisation that engages overseas Filipinos so that they can continue to be part of the Philippines’ nation building, wherever they are in the world.
Having reached more than 1 million overseas Filipinos worldwide through various talks, trainings, and events, Terence and Tet have been awarded the prestigious Huwarang Pamilyang OFW 2017 by the 700 Club Asia, in recognition of their positive impact on the OFW community.
Among the flagship initiatives of the movement includes Never Work Again Caravan, a massive global caravan for overseas Filipinos around the world aimed at sharing inspiring stories and the strategies that OFWs can do to multiply their income and make a triumphant return to the Philippines – without ever having to work abroad ever again.
On the other hand, the OFW Freedom Day aims to empower overseas Filipinos to help them achieve a free and rich (FRICH) life by promoting financial literacy, planning and entrepreneurship through a series of talks and other fun-filled activities.
