Ooredoo’s recently-launched Virtual Store is the first of its kind to be established by any telecommunications operator in the world, and the one of a kind in the country, Qatar’s leading telecom provider said on Tuesday.
The Virtual Store, a revolutionary 3D retail experience available online for customers, has been a huge success, with more than 10,000 customers using it in the first few weeks.
Created by Plug & Play and Ooredoo, the Virtual Store offers customers the opportunity to browse and buy products, smart watches and Ooredoo services as if they are in one of the many Ooredoo retail shops across the country.
The online retail experience is 360° and completely interactive, allowing customers to learn about the products and services in which they are interested. It is also fully integrated with online e-commerce, so purchases can be made as and when customers select products, accessories and services.
In line with Ooredoo’s goal of complete digitalisation, the new Virtual Store is accessible online from any mobile device: a smartphone, tablet, laptop or a regular desktop computer.
