THE Cabinet, at its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani at Amiri Diwan on Wednesday, approved the draft decision of HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment to amend some provisions of the decision No. 351 of 2018 on organising the sale of standard specifications, technical regulations, publications and related bulletins.
The Cabinet also reviewed the Shura Council’s recommendation on the terrestrial and marine environment and decided to refer it to the competent authority for its views.
Then, the Cabinet approved a draft bilateral air services agreement between Qatar and Brazil; draft agreement on cultural and technical cooperation between Qatar and Nicaragua; and draft agreement on cooperation in education between Qatar and Paraguay.
The Cabinet also took the necessary procedures to ratify agreements between Qatar and Croatia on exempting visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports, for cultural cooperation and news cooperation and transfer between Qatar News Agency (QNA) and Croatian News Agency (HINA).
Furthermore, the Cabinet ratified memoranda of understanding (MoU) between Qatar and Croatia in the field of sports, education and agriculture.
The Cabinet also reviewed the sixth annual report of the National Committee on International Humanitarian Law.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet listened to a presentation by HE the Minister of Finance on the results of the ministerial group for coordination and follow-up of major projects (of strategic importance).
During the presentation, the minister said that many of the highways and other projects related to the 2022 World Cup, Metro networks and infrastructure have mostly been completed.

meeting.
