As part of its continued efforts to increase the number of Qatari travelers to Germany, the German National Tourist Office-Gulf countries (GNTO) will be hosting a one-day roadshow in Doha, on October 20, in association with premium airline partner, Qatar Airways.
The B2B roadshow being hosted by the German Ambassador to Qatar HE Hans-Udo Muzel, aims to introduce Qatari travel trade professionals, key opinion leaders and media persons to the latest tourism attractions that make Germany a preferred destination for travelers.
Emphasising the importance of the Qatari market, Nicole Zaspel, sales and marketing manager for Gulf countries at GNTO, an affiliate of the German National Tourist Board (GNTB), commented, “Qatar offers huge potential for the German tourism industry, and we are delighted to showcase some of the leading German tourism partners to the local travel trade industry in order to facilitate business and to inspire visitors to travel to our wonderful country.”
Ten key GNTO partners will join the roadshow to introduce the Qatari market to vibrant local destinations, tour operators, deluxe hotels, medical tourism institutions and luxury shopping outlets.
The high-end shopping complexes feature ‘Breuninger Department Store’; ‘OutletCity Metzingen’ and ‘Ingolstadt & Wertheim Village’, while the outstanding hotel operators cover ‘Excelsior Hotel Ernst’ and ‘Hotel Bayerischer Hof Munich’.
The Tour and incentive operators include ‘DMC & MICE Germany’ and ‘Studiosus Incoming Munich’, while the medical tourism providers cover ‘Sana Hospital Group’ and ‘Schoen Clinic’.
