Qatar condemns attack on Canadian mining firm convoy

Qatar has condemned the attack on a convoy transporting workers of a Canadian mining company in Burkina Faso, killing dozens of people and injuring several others. In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence
and terrorism, whatever the motives and causes. The statement offered Qatar’s condolences to the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
