The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on Monday met with the US Congress delegation at the Amiri Diwan on Monday. The delegation included representative Sean Patrick Maloney from New York, Rick Larsen from Washington and representative Nanette Barragan from California, all members of the Democratic Party. During the meeting, they reviewed strategic relations of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and the US, and the ways of supporting them in various fields, especially in the areas of politics, economy, defence, health and education. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments. (QNA)
