Qatar Charity (QC) has honoured school students with outstanding academic performance, their teachers, and some of the “ideal families”.
This comes as part of QC’s care to the future leaders to encourage them to excel in the future.
At the ceremony, 63 brilliant students, both male and female, who performed very well academically during the school year 2018-2019, received the honour. Besides, nine male and female teachers were honoured in recognition of their efforts to support the students. Three families were also honoured on the occasion for their leading educational roles.
The event also included a video clip on activities and programmes implemented for ‘Future’s Leaders’, an operetta entitled ‘Vision of Education in Qatar’ by students of Qatar Primary School for Boys, a poem entitled ‘Set a Goal’ by a student Fathia al Abdullah, and an operetta presented by Qatar Charity Center for Community Development in Al Rayyan.
Qatar Charity also honoured the supporter of the ceremony Al-Jazeera Medical Center, the host of the ceremony Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Doha, the guest of honour Sheikh Ayesh Al Qahtani, Qatar Charity Center for Community Development in Al Rayyan and Qatar Primary School for Boys.
Jassim al Emadi, director of the Local Development Department at Qatar Charity, expressed pleasure in celebrating the ‘Future’s Leaders’ who excelled in the 2018-2019 academic year and those who contributed to their remarkable achievements.
Emadi added that the honour would encourage the students to continue their excellent performance at schools to be active and beneficial persons in future.
He also thanked the families who contributed to the feat.
He affirmed that Qatar Charity would continue to support the ‘Future’s Leaders’ to enable them perform well continuously.
Mohammed Nasser al Hajri, owner of Al-Jazeera Medical Center, expressed happiness to support the ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, the parents thanked Qatar Charity for caring for their children, hoping that the support would continue to help them realise their dreams and aspirations.
