Rain lashed many parts of the country on Sunday, with the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) forecasting more rain, which may turn into thunderstorm at times. “According to latest radar image, rain of variable intensity, thundery at times in western and southern areas, can be seen moving towards central and eastern areas. Kindly take extra care and avoid going to sea,” the QMD said in a statement. (TNN)
