The government of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA), Sweden and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on labour-related areas. The agreement was signed in Doha by Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Mohammed Hassan al Obaidli, Ambassador of Sweden HE Anders Bengtcen, and Head of ILO Project Office for Qatar Houtan Homayounpour. The MoU aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of occupational health and safety at work and corporate social responsibility through institutional collaboration. (QNA)
