DOHA College has teamed up with global expert on leadership and personal performance Eric Vermeulen to deliver a public talk on building self-confidence, motivation and performance'.
The free event entitled 'Find your 5' will take place at Doha College's Al Waab campus starting at 6.30pm on September 27. Places must be booked via www.eventbrite.com.
'Find your 5' focuses on the lessons we learned from our childhood that if remembered and applied can ensure we are super-successful and free thinkers.
This talk is part of Doha College's High Performance Learning programme and inspires students, parents and our community to become free thinkers and realise their potential.
As a global expert on leadership and personal performance, Erik Vermeulen found that there was very little literature regarding the origins of success, leadership and motivation and he turned his attention to childhood.
Research shows that at the age of 5, one has all the skills and natural abilities needed for super-achievement. Free thinkers manage to retain the 'innocence of thought' and 'na'efve curiosity' that are often lost during our 12-16 years of education.
In this talk, Erik takes you back to"your mother's Jacuzzi" from where he helps you rediscover the success-skills you had at the age of 5. These were systematically beaten out of you through education, corporate thinking and society.
This presentation is aimed at all levels of management in every sector of the economy.
