Birla Public School organised a literacy workshop for parents aiming to introduce them to effective reading and writing.
The workshop attended by the parents of grade 1 students, gave them an opportunity to learn about shared reading, shared writing and writing based on vocabulary list. The brainstorming sessions part of the workshop saw parents come up with ideas for making children's learning more meaningful and effective.
Resource person CBSE-I Headmistress Durga Sree Mavuru appreciated the parents for their enthusiastic participation saying,"When parents acknowledge the efforts put in by the teachers and lend their cooperation, there will be no end to the benefits that will accrue to children."
Group Coordinator Vanitha and Grade 1 teachers Suma Thayyil, Syeda Sulthana and Manju Nair rendered assistance.
