The Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani and President of Senegal Macky Sall discussed the latest developments in the Gulf crisis in a telephonic conversation on Monday. They also discussed bilateral relations and means of boosting them in various fields. Meanwhile, Senegal has decided to return its ambassador to Doha amidst the ongoing Gulf crisis. In a statement on Monday, Senegal said it encourages continuation of the ongoing initiatives to resolve the dispute between Qatar and the Saudi-led bloc in the spirit of Islamic solidarity. Senegal said it is prepared to support all efforts in this direction.
