The delegation of the Lebanon national football team arrived in Doha on Monday to compete in the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023to be held from January 12 to February 10, 2024. Lebanon will have a training camp in
Doha and will also play a friendly with Saudi Arabia on Thursday. Lebanon who could not make their first appearance in the finals when it hosted the 2000 edition, are looking forward to reaching the knockout rounds in their third appearance at the Continental Cup under coach Miodrag Radulovic. Lebanon, who are in Group A for the tournament, will play Qatar in their opening match on January 12 at the Lusail Stadium. Their second game will be against China on January 17 at Al Thumama Stadium, and the final group stage match against Tajikistan on January 22 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. (QNA)
