Qatar has been at the forefront of efforts to prevent the spread of cyber-attacks and create a safe environment.
Qatar has developed an advanced cyber security platform named “Warning’ to identify and detect security threats against corporations and infrastructure systems.
The platform is the result of a three-year collaboration between the QCRI, Ministry of Interior, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, TOBB University of Economics and Technology in Turkey, Kadir Has University, and Interprobe, a cyber-defence firm.
The platform exemplifies the future of cyber security as follows, it:
• Uses Al technologies
• Identifies phishing domains and aims to block them
• Detects malware software
• Identifies malicious enterprise network traffic
