Ninety-nine students from various Indian schools took the Differential Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by the Centre for Information and Guidance India (CIGI), Doha Chapter, in association with the MES Off Campus centre at MES Indian School, Abu Hamour. The session was conducted for two days in three segments which included motivational talks on career-planning, aptitude test and individual counselling led by career-counselling experts Advocate Issuddin K K and Jamaluddin. The~motivational talk on career planning~by CIGI Doha Career Coordinator Mohammed Faisal helped parents and students understand the different aspects of choosing the right career path that suits their aptitude, skills and passions. He observed that most people land in wrong careers due to a lack of scientific career planning.
CIGI International Chairman Mohammed Firoz stressed the importance of reading habits among students and asked parents to become role models for their children. CIGI Doha Vice-Chairman Hammad Abdul Rahiman reminded students to look for opportunities and motivated students to take up challenges in life.
Students from MES Indian School, Ideal Indian School, Birla Public School, DPS-Modern Indian School, Doha Modern Indian School, Shantiniketan Indian School and Noble International School took the test.
MES Managing Committee Senior Vice-President and CIGI Doha Senior Visionary K Abdul Kareem and MES Off Campus Administrator Manmadan Mampally spoke on the occasion.
