Qatar's diplomatic, consular and representative missions abroad continued to celebrate National Day in commemoration of the founder of the State Sheikh Jassem bin Mohammed bin Thani.
In Moscow Ambassador of Qatar to Russia HE Fahad bin Mohammed al Attiyah held a reception ceremony, which was attended by a host of political, economic and cultural personalities in Russia.
In Geneva, Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organisations in Switzerland HE Ali Khalfan al Mansouri hosted a reception. It was attended by a number of ambassadors of States, delegates of permanent delegations and representatives of the United Nations and international organisations.
In London, Ambassador of Qatar to the UK HE Yousef bin Ali al Khater organised a reception which was attended by a number of British ministers, diplomats and businessmen.
In Jakarta, Qatar's Ambassador to Indonesia HE Ahmed bin Jassim al Hamr held a reception attended by Indonesian ministers and high-ranking officials.
In Khartoum, Qatar's Ambassador to Sudan HE Rashid bin Abdulrahman al Nuaimi held a reception attended by representative of the president of Sudan, and ministers and other dignitaries.
