Pakistani Professional Community Qatar (PPCQ) organised a farewell function for Fahad Ismail, a distinguished HSE professional working with KEO International for the past decade in Qatar, at Sarhad Premium Restaurant, Golden Tulip Hotel.
Fahad, now embarking on a temporary assignment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a challenging role in a prestigious construction project, leaves behind a legacy as a distinguished community leader.
Arshad Hussain commended Fahad for his pivotal role in forming the Pakistani FIFA volunteers group, highlighting his enthusiasm for involving the community members in global events. As a non-political and non-commercial social network, he noted, PPCQ aims to foster community betterment.
Fahad’s affable personality, unwavering commitment to social welfare, professional excellence, and community building will be deeply cherished, PPCQ members noted, while praising his tireless efforts in guiding job seekers, championing initiatives, and volunteering during the challenging times of COVID-19.
Speaking on the occasion, Fahad thanked the community members for organising the event in his honour and noted that while he is leaving with fond memories of Qatar, he will continue to visit the country in future as his parents and family members are staying here.
Stressing career growth, Fahad expressed optimism about the opportunities that lie ahead. Throughout his stay in Qatar, Fahad was actively engaged in community organisations, founding the Pakistan Worker’s Welfare Forum and serving as first President of Sparks Toastmasters Club.
Community members including Anwar Shah, Qaisar Anwar, Dr Ahmad Javaid, Atiqur Rasheed, Zeeshan Quddos, Abdul Khaliq, Ashraf Siddique, Rashid Orakzai, Ali Khanan, Ikram Butt, Mohammad Suhail, Israr Malazai, Amer Khan, Syed Faiz Shah, Humayun Rashid and Mazhar Yousafzai spoke on the occasion and expressed their admiration for Fahad’s leadership, dedication, and significant contributions towards the community.
