IFIA is an ensemble of inventor associations, foundations, universities, corporations, companies, and research centres collaborating in an unparalleled way to disseminate invention and innovation culture internationally.
IFIA has a membership of about 154 which cuts across over 100 countries.
The organisation's services include providing inventors, invention associations and event organisers with the required information, linkages, and outstanding opportunities to share and discover innovative ideas and create an expanded network.
The Qatari inventor's nomination was accepted and approved during an IFIA Executive Committee Members Meeting held in Nuremberg, Germany on November 5.
The nomination is expected to be ratified at the general assembly of the 50-year-old body in Geneva, Switzerland in the first quarter of 2018.
