Tribune News Network Doha Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) regarding a variety of postal services. The agreement was signed by Qatar Post’s Chief Financial Officer Mohammed Jabr al Naemi and Qatar Rail’s Chief of Corporate Support Khalifa Hassan al Jehani. By the terms of the agreement, Qatar Post will provide Qatar Rail with global priority service to deliver all postal materials inside and outside Qatar in the shortest time possible, in addition to its VIP services. Qatar Post will also provide all postal and mail services to Qatar Rail in order to facilitate and expedite the transport of consignments and shipments, which is part of its efforts to integrate national companies to strengthen the Qatari economy in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. Qatar Post’s Global Priority Service safely and securely delivers letters and parcels to more than 220 countries worldwide within one to three days, making it the fastest delivery option. Qatar Post CFO Naemi said, "Today, we are pleased to welcome one of the largest contributors to the renaissance of Qatar's economy, Qatar Railways, a national project with excellence that will touch on all aspects of life in Qatar economically, socially and culturally. "We at Qatar Post will work to provide the company with all current and future postal services in line with their different needs. We are delighted to be committed to signing the first agreement on Global Priority and VIP services, which provide time and convenience to customers.” Qatar Rail’s Jehani said, "We are happy to sign this agreement with Qatar Post regarding our postal services need. Qatar Post has a history of excellent performance which has been the culture over the years. "This new partnership will further enhance the relationship between our two companies as we join hands together in building our great nation in line with its Vision 2030.”
