They were awarded with trophies and certificates by the distinguished guests.

The theme for this year's Senior Wing Annual Day 'Tiyasha - Silent Cry of the River' is a humble attempt at creating awareness about environmental issues and urging people to contribute in their small ways to bring forth change.
Chougule welcomed the guests and inspired the young minds with his words of wisdom. He commended the unfailing efforts of the principal, faculty members, students, and parents in establishing DPS-MIS as a name to reckon with, in line with its mission, vision and objectives.
Kumaran discussed the pros and cons of different pedagogies adopted in classrooms to support learners in mastering 21st Century skills and competencies. He advised teachers to act as facilitators and encouraged the students to work diligently, make optimum use of resources, identify areas of interest and focus on them to attain their goals.
Khurshid appreciated the ethics and values of the Indian education system and provided insight into the role of teachers and parents in moulding responsible, agile and proactive future citizens.
The main attraction of the day, the dance drama embodying the theme, was a display of multifarious talents, aesthetic expressions and dulcet music. More than 200 artists of DPS-MIS drew the soulful journey of a river. But, man, the best creation of nature, in his quest for progress, exploits and pollutes it and the river, with an ardent desire to survive amidst all odds, cries out in silence.
The depiction of the theme through various enthralling dance forms, dazzling costumes, props and magnificent backdrops kept the audience glued to their seats and their unceasing applause defined the success of the show.
Hundreds of parents who gathered to enjoy the hard work of their children were awestruck by the children's performances. They left the auditorium with a promise to not pollute the water resources.
