The ongoing Souq Waqif Spring Festival is drawing large crowds with a host of entertainment and fun activities
The festival has transformed Doha's traditional market into an entertainment zone, with Qatar-based companies putting up many entertainment facilities.
The festival is offering a range of family-oriented fun activities such as amusement rides, and skill games. Dozens of food stalls have been set up at the iconic marketplace.
The entertainment show will continue until April 25, 2018.
Restaurants offering Arabic and international cuisines at the Souq Waqif are bringing with customers.
A citizen, who visited the Spring Festival with three children, said,"Souq Waqif is the most traditional and conveniently accessible area in Doha which adds to the flavour of the festival. My kids are enjoying the rides and there is an excitement all around this place which makes the experience of coming to this festival worthwhile."
For the convenience of the families, the entertainment activities are divided into Zone A and B. While Zone A hosts games more suitable for children, Zone B has rides and games for children and adults.
There are over 40 different kinds of activities with tickets per ride or game ranging between QR15 and 35.
