Service road in front of Ezdan Mall to be closed

THE Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that it will close one direction of the service road in front of Ezdan Mall, for a distance of approximately 400 metres, to enable upgrading of Umm Lekhba Interchange (Landmark Interchange).
The proposed closure designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic will commence on Sunday (January 7).
During the closure, road users wishing to exit Ezdan Mall will be required to use the rear exit which has been expanded to reach Al Markhiya Street (Al Hana Street) towards Thani Bin Jassim traffic signals and take a U-turn to Umm Lekhba Interchange (Landmark Interchange) and from there to the different destinations as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests commuters to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
