WASHINGTON: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has met in Washington with several members of the US Senate from the Republican Party, headed by Senator Roger Marshall.
He also met with some US Senators from the Democratic Party, headed by Senator Chris Coons and Senator Chris Van Hollen.
The two meetings reviewed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them. They also discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to several topics of common interest.
