The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has added more services for individuals on its unique Metrash2 app.
The new interface of Metrash 2 directly displays all the necessary information for an individual such as the number of traffic violations, information on sponsored residents, and personal documents and their validity, among others. It also enables a user to access his profile more easily. Users can now open the application through fingerprint verification also, after registering their fingerprint.
Individuals can now apply for several services electronically through Metrash 2, such as exit-entry transactions, conduct certificate issued by the MoI, and receive them in their registered e-mail account.
Meanwhile, the General Department of Traffic has recently inaugurated a new office at Al Khor, which will issue vehicle number plates in place of lost or damaged ones. Residents in the area can now avail the services of the new office, instead of going to the office in the Industrial area.
