The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) won the Qatar Government Excellence Award on the side-lines of its participation in the Excellence Category for Ministries.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, handed over the award to Minister of Commerce and Industry His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, during a ceremony organized today and attended by several ministers and officials.

The Qatar Government Excellence Award aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the governmental sector and the services it provides to customers to meet the needs of the Qatari society and build a flexible governmental sector while maintaining the quality of performance.

It also seeks to qualify human talents to fulfil future needs and possess the necessary skills and capabilities.

Qatar Government Excellence Award encompasses four main pillars including entrepreneurship, Qualitative and institutional value, as well as the outcomes and impact.
